Good to know.
How is balayage different from highlights?
Foil highlights lift uniformly from the root and show a line as they grow out; balayage is surface-painted with a feathered root, so regrowth stays invisible for months.
Does balayage suit Indian skin tones?
Yes — caramel, honey and soft-gold palettes are especially flattering on warm undertones. HORA's colourists match tones during the consultation.
I want colour that doesn't need monthly touch-ups — is balayage right?
Yes — that is balayage's main advantage. Because colour is hand-painted away from the root, there is no hard regrowth line; it grows out softly over 4–6 months before needing a refresh, compared to every 4–6 weeks for root-based colour. It's the lowest-maintenance premium colour service HORA offers.
